My 2019 started with a blast and I can't wait to share. I received an special invitation to join a group of amazing individuals who are brave and passionate about their "nerdy" interest. The purpose of Nerds Anonymous is to come together to share nerdy hobbies or interests that might be the thinktank needed to percolate a new connection or new innovation. This is also a chance for many individuals to overcome the fear of speaking in public and to get really personal. I believe that all of us have passions that we keep dear to ourselves. Topics care limitless, from the power of smiling to decoding your astrological birth chart.
What I particularly enjoyed that night was the chance to get out there, and meet other Nerds like me, and hear their story. Sometimes we get so caught up in our day-to-day that it is so refreshing to just get out of our comfort zone. I was excited to talk about my passion to reach out and help people to lead healthier lives. A simple message delivered with passion in an intimate setting is such a contagious tool to inspire others who might be struggling, just like you. We bonded and made new connections.
